Sample Bacon of the Month Recipes

Bacon-Wrapped Steak Bites

Ingredients:

1 lb steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
1 lb bacon (cut into 1-inch pieces)
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set aside.
Wrap each piece of steak with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Place steak bites on a baking sheet and brush with BBQ sauce mixture.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bacon is crisp.
Serve and enjoy!

Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients:

12 jalapenos, halved and seeded
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cut in half
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set aside.
Stuff each jalapeno half with cream cheese mixture.
Wrap each jalapeno half with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Place jalapeno poppers on a baking sheet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bacon is crisp.
Serve and enjoy!

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients:

1 lb asparagus, trimmed
6 slices bacon, cut in half
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set aside.
Wrap each piece of asparagus with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Place asparagus on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil mixture.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bacon is crisp.
